Manage the delivery of a full range of state and local tax consulting services and advise companies on tax implications of their operations to develop a confident tax strategy
Help in the development and maturity of the tax service line by working with leadership team to advance thought leadership, client and people development (direct management as well as coaching)
Work closely with the firm’s partners, managers and staff to integrate practice development skills into a team approach to client service and new business development for state and local tax
Develop and lead a team responsible for ensuring quality control in state and local tax compliance for the firm’s clients
Lead and supervise state and local tax projects working with a variety of entities such as corporations, partnerships, estates, trusts and non-profits across various industries
Work with engagement teams to respond to inquiries from Pennsylvania and other taxing authorities.
Oversee taxing jurisdiction audit and controversy support for clients; represent clients during the appeal process
Enter into strategic partnerships with other service providers to better leverage certain state and local compliance engagements
Create new SALT service offerings for the firm and leverage other SALT team members to lead these areas
