Develop and maintain a 12-month rolling forecast for assigned customers/categories.
Develop and track key forecasting KPI’s such as fill rate and forecast accuracy on a weekly/monthly basis for assigned accounts.
Participate in Monthly Demand Planning Consensus meetings.
Work closely with internal sales teams as well as key customer representatives in the development of the collaborative forecast.
Assemble and analyze all data pertinent to creating the sales forecast including historical sales, market trends, seasonality, promotions, and POS data.
Establish and utilize best practices (statistical models and software tools) in creating forecasts.
Make recommended adjustments to forecast based on changes in demand and market trends.
Work with Sales and Inventory Planning to develop an inventory allocation plan when necessary.
Act as a lead contact with Sales and Inventory Planning to determine product availability or the timing of new promotions or opportunities.
Perform other related duties as required or assigned.
