Assist in month-end close activities, including preparing journal entries, performing account reconciliations, and ensuring accurate account classifications in compliance with GAAP.
The Accountant will oversee Fixed Assets, Royalty Receivable, and Prepaid Expense accounts, ensuring accurate management and reporting.
Collaborate with IT to test and implement new procedures between ERP and other systems.
Monitor cash balances, perform daily and monthly cash management analysis, and provide recommendations as needed.
The Accountant will prepare data for sales tax returns using ERP information and tax software; serve as the primary contact for sales tax inquiries and manage related compliance paperwork.
Support annual audits by gathering documentation, assisting external auditors, and maintaining necessary records.
