Job Context


Job Responsibilities

  • A. Warehouse Management
  1. Oversee daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, and distribution.
  2. Ensure the warehouse is organized, secure, and compliant with health and safety regulations.
  3. Develop and implement efficient workflows and processes to optimize storage and handling.
  4. Supervise and train warehouse staff to enhance productivity and ensure high performance.
  • B. Inventory Control
  1. Manage and maintain accurate inventory records through regular audits and cycle counts.
  2. Monitor stock levels and oversee reorder processes to prevent stockouts and overstocking.
  3. Develop inventory management strategies, including FIFO (First-In-First-Out) and ABC analysis, to minimize costs and waste.
  4. Identify discrepancies and resolve issues with inventory levels through business reconciliation.
  • C. Supply Chain Coordination
  1. Collaborate with procurement and logistics teams to ensure timely supply and delivery of materials and products.
  2. Develop and manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to optimize cost and delivery times.
  3. Track and report on key supply chain KPIs, such as lead times, order accuracy, and fulfillment rates.
  4. Implement cost-saving and efficiency improvement strategies across the supply chain.
  • D. Cost Savings and Financial Reconciliation
  1. Identify opportunities for cost reduction in warehousing, inventory management, and supply chain processes.
  2. Conduct regular cost-benefit analyses and propose initiatives for improved cost efficiency.
  3. Perform business reconciliation between inventory records, supplier invoices, and accounting records to ensure financial accuracy.
  4. Collaborate with the finance team to track and report on cost-saving initiatives, inventory valuation, and financial impact on supply chain performance.
  • E. System & Process Improvement
  1. Utilize inventory management software (e.g., ERP systems) to track and optimize warehouse and supply chain operations.
  2. Analyze data to identify trends, inefficiencies, and areas for improvement in warehouse and inventory processes.
  3. Lead initiatives to improve automation, streamline processes, and enhance warehouse layout and storage solutions.
  • F. Reporting & Compliance
  1. Prepare and present regular reports on inventory levels, warehouse productivity, cost savings, and supply chain performance.
  2. Ensure compliance with industry regulations, company policies, and best practices in inventory management.
  3. Develop and enforce policies and procedures related to inventory, warehouse management, and cost control.

Educational Requirements
  • Bachelor/Honors
Skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Accounting, or a related field. Strong knowledge of inventory control, warehouse management, supply chain principles, and business reconciliation. Proficiency in using inventory management software (e.g., ERP systems, WMS). Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, with a focus on financial reconciliation and cost analysis. Strong communication and negotiation skills. Leadership and team management experience, with a focus on safety and efficiency. Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing demands.
